Gender-Affirming Assessment Fee Details
At Innovative Therapy Works LLC, we offer gender-affirming mental health assessments to support clients seeking gender-affirming medical care or legal documentation.
Service Description:
Comprehensive mental health evaluation
Review of relevant medical and psychological history
Collaboration with other providers, if requested
Completion of referral letter or documentation for medical/surgical transition-related care
Fee:
$250 flat fee for the assessment and letter
Fee includes the initial evaluation session (60–75 minutes) and preparation of required documentation
Additional sessions, if needed, are billed at the standard therapy rate
Payment Policy:
Payment is due at the time of service
Assessments for gender-affirming care are not typically covered by insurance and are billed as self-pay
Clients will receive an itemized receipt (superbill) upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will be subject to a late cancellation fee
